11/25 - Note from Peter

November 25, 2008

Hey folks!!!

We've just gotten back from a lengthy tour which has seen us out since September 17, playing 36 shows across the country with quick stops in Canada and Mexico thrown in to make things interesting. It's been an incredible experience, one which I hope to never repeat...ha! But seriously, there is NOTHING like playing every night with great friends the music evolved from concentrated effort to second nature, like breathing or drinking bourbon.

We're doing one last show in NYC this Saturday November 29 at the Blender Theater. Hopefully it will represent what we've been sounding like in the last two months and make up for the Lincoln Center Concert for Rain back in August. My keytar playing has come leaps and bounds I am no longer shackled by the 80's conventions which initially restricted my playing to synth brass stabs and FM doorbell chimes. I'm approaching legitimate Chick Corea territory now and I'm seriously thinking of changing my entry in the union phone book to"Kiesewalter, Peter Keytar." Period.

This is our last NYC show for a while. We'll be concentrating our efforts next year on the lucrative Canadian Prairies market and figuring out how we can bring a choir on the road with us... in a van...
